Coalition Goals

To bring together the metropolitan community in a partnership to advocate for responsible sex education for our young people

To develop guidelines and standards for comprehensive sex education curricula

To assess what is being taught in sex education classes in the metro area

To work with local teachers and school officials to implement responsible sex education curricula

To encourage local and state officials in Kansas and Missouri to support responsible sex education

Mission Statement:

We advocate for comprehensive, medically accurate, age-appropriate sex education for youth in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.
